LANGUAGE TRANSLATIONS OF THE ATA CARNET

Spanish, English and French are the three languages in which the ATA Carnet is accepted in Mexico. It is important to make sure that the General List of goods (second page of the green cover: General List) is translated into one of these languages. If the ATA Carnet is completed in any other language, a translation of the General List of goods will be required. The General List of goods is the only section of the ATA Carnet that has to be translated. The translation can be provided in a separate sheet which is visually similar to the General List, including the order of items which should correspond to the one in the original General List.
